One of the most common questions we receive before a first visit is: "Do you take my insurance?"
The short answer is no. Conrad Spine and Sport is a private pay practice. But that answer deserves more context, because for most patients dealing with recurring pain, private pay is not a disadvantage. It is often the reason they finally get better.
Why Private Pay?
Insurance-based care is built around billing codes, visit limits, and approved treatment protocols. That structure works well for acute injuries. It works poorly for chronic, recurring pain, the kind that keeps coming back no matter what you try.
When care is governed by what insurance will reimburse, sessions get shorter, assessments get narrower, and the plan gets shaped by coverage rather than your actual case. The result is a lot of patients who improve temporarily, then return to square one.
Private pay removes those constraints. Every session at Conrad Spine and Sport is 45 to 60 minutes. The assessment is thorough. The plan is built entirely around what is actually driving your pain, not what a billing code will support.
What Does It Cost?
Investment depends on the depth of rebuilding required. Most patients complete The Chronic Pain Blueprint in 18 to 24 sessions. Your specific recommendation and the associated investment are discussed clearly during your Clarity Visit, once we understand your case.
We do not quote a number before we know what we are dealing with. That would be like a contractor quoting a renovation before seeing the house.
Payment Plans Are Available
We understand that out-of-pocket care is a real consideration. That is why we offer payment plans for patients who need to spread the investment over time. Payment plans are discussed during the Clarity Visit and structured around your situation.
Conrad Spine and Sport Is a CareCredit Approved Provider
We are also an approved provider through CareCredit, a healthcare financing option that lets you pay for care over time with flexible payment terms. Many patients use CareCredit to manage the cost of a full program without paying everything upfront.
You can apply directly at carecredit.com/apply. Approval is typically fast, and once approved, you can use it immediately.
The Bottom Line
Private pay means no insurance limitations, no shortened sessions, and no plan shaped by what a billing department will approve. It means care that is actually built around you.
Payment plans and CareCredit financing make that care accessible without requiring you to pay everything at once.
