FAQs:
What Most Patients Ask
Quick answers to the most common questions about care at Conrad Spine and Sport, From your first visit to what makes us different.
1) What is a Discovery Visit?
It’s our starting point — a 1-on-1 consultation and assessment to uncover the real pattern driving your pain. No guessing, no quick fixes. You leave with clarity and a personalized plan.
2) How is a Discovery Visit different from a typical consultation?
Most consults give you 5 minutes and a generic answer. Ours is in-depth: movement screen, driver questions, history, and strategy. You’ll know exactly what’s going on and what it takes to fix it.
3) How long is the Discovery Visit?
About 45 minutes — enough time to listen, assess, and outline next steps without rushing.
4) What happens after my Discovery Visit?
If we’re a fit, we map your care plan. Some start with a short reset phase; others with a 3-month plan. Either way, you’ll know the path forward before you leave.
5) Do I need a referral to book?
No referral needed. Book directly online or contact us — no gatekeepers.
6) Do you take insurance?
No. Care is private-pay so we can provide the time, depth, and methods insurance won’t cover. Many patients use HSA/FSA or CareCredit.
7) Why are you private pay only?
Insurance rewards quick fixes and checklists. We treat complex cases that need time and customization. Private pay keeps your care driven by outcomes, not codes.
8) Do you offer financing or payment plans?
Yes. We’re an approved CareCredit provider and offer in-house options. It’s often far less than the cost of years of failed treatments or surgery.
9) What forms of payment do you accept?
Credit/debit, HSA/FSA, CareCredit, and pay-in-full incentives.
10) Is this more expensive than traditional care?
Upfront, sometimes. But compared to repeat visits, medications, or surgeries, our plans save money and restore function faster. Patients see it as an investment in a lasting solution.
11) What makes Conrad Spine and Sport different?
We don’t chase symptoms — we solve patterns. By blending rehab, chiropractic, and driver-based care, we help people who have “tried everything” finally get results.
12) Why focus on patterns instead of symptoms?
Symptoms jump around; patterns don’t. Fix the pattern — posture, load, tolerance, regulation — and pain has nowhere to hide.
13) What results should I expect early on?
Many see small wins in 1–2 visits: less tension, better sleep, improved tolerance. Bigger changes compound over 4–12 weeks.
14) Do you really treat hypermobility and EDS/hEDS?
Yes. We specialize in hypermobility. Care blends joint control, autonomic stability, and whole-system support — not just band exercises.
15) How do you handle complex or “failed” cases?
We expect complexity. Our framework is built for patients failed by PT, injections, or surgery. If there’s a pattern, we’ll find it — and fix it.
16) How many visits will I need?
It depends on drivers and goals. Most plans run 12–30 visits over 3–6 months, tapering as you build independence.
17) What happens in a typical session?
Targeted assessment, treatment, and skill-building drills. Each visit moves you toward tolerance, stability, and confidence — not just temporary relief.
18) Do you use traditional chiropractic adjustments?
Yes, when appropriate — but always inside a bigger plan. Adjustments are one tool, not the whole toolbox.
19) Will I get exercises or homework?
Yes. Recovery happens between visits. You’ll get simple, high-impact drills to reinforce progress at home or in the gym.
20) What if I’ve already tried PT, injections, or surgery?
You’re our typical fit. Past care often missed the full pattern. We address what others didn’t.
21) How soon will I notice results?
Many feel progress in 1–2 visits; sustainable changes build across weeks. Most see major gains within 3 months.
22) Can I keep training or working out during care?
Yes — with guidance. We’ll adapt training so you stay active while protecting healing patterns. Many athletes improve performance during care.
23) Do you work with athletes?
Absolutely. From weekend warriors to competitive athletes, we build durability, control, and load tolerance.
24) Where are you located?
Preston & Stockard in Frisco, TX — easy access across North Dallas.
